The death has occurred of
Edward (Ted) Sawyer
Edward (Ted) Sawyer, The Hill, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford and Formerly of Marlborough England. Ted passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff of the Pine Ward, University Hospital Waterford on 9th February 2026.
Predeceased by his loving wife Josephine, his parents Thomas Reginald and Hilda Rose Sawyer, brothers Thomas, Frederick, Kenneth and Donald, and sisters Rosemary and Ellen. Sadly missed by his sister Barbara and all his nieces and nephews, remaining members of the Shanahan family, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral mass will take place in All Saints Church, Newtown, Co. Waterford on Friday 13th February at 11:30a.m followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
