Edward Tierney

(Formerly Inis Mór, Aran Islands), peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his son Paul and Paul's mother Mary and by his partner Teresa, his sisters Marie, Carmel and Geraldine, daughter-in-law Gosia, brother-in-law Christy, his adored grandchildren Jarek and Ola, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Sunday, 14th November, from 12 noon to 2.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Edward at 12 noon  on Monday, 15th November, at St. Kilian,s Church, Newcastle, Co Dublin. Funeral after Mass to Newcastle Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if preferred, to The Irish Cancer Society. Although the attendance at the Church and at the funeral parlour has increased in capacity, Edward's family are still mindful of spreading Covid-19. A 'Walk-Through' system is in place for sympathising at the funeral parlour, which maintains social distancing.  Please wear a mask and avoid shaking hands.
