BYRNE (Silverheights Avenue, Mayfield Cork): On 24th December 2023, unexpectedly, at his home, EDWIN, beloved husband of the late Olivia, cherished and much loved dad of Eric and Jennifer, adored only son of Kitty and the late Liam, loving brother of Lillian, Mary, Catherina, Paula, Helen and Denise.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his beautiful grandchildren David, Liam and Olivia, daughter-in-law Meghan, son-in-law Robert, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends especially his good friend John Foley.

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Friday (December 29th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Saturday (December 30th) in the Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield which can be viewed here.

Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
