Edwin Erakpoweri

Formerly of Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.

Edwin passed away unexpectedly, at University Hospital Galway, on Sunday the 29th of March, 2026.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving children Henrietta Ejiro, David and Fiona and their mother Caroline, his extended family, relatives and friends.

May Edwin's Soul Rest In Peace

Funeral will arrive at St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore (H91 PX95), on Easter Monday (April 6th) for Requiem Mass at 10am. Edwin will then be laid to rest in Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore (H91 V0FN).

The Erakpoweri Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff of Galway Chesire Home, Coral Haven Residential Nursing Home and Caiseal Geal Nursing Home, for the wonderful care and compassion that Edwin received over the years, while under their care.
