SCRAGG (Cork) On 10th March 2022, unexpectedly, but peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff of the Mercy University Hospital, EDWIN, Glenthorn Park, Dublin Hill and late of Farranferris Avenue, Farranree, Irish Steel and President of The City of Cork Male Voice Choir.  Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Betty (nee O’Riordan), much loved dad of Roy, James and Ann-Marie, devoted granda of Idena, Hilary, Evan and Charlotte.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, family, daughter-in-law Eileen, son-in-law Conor, James’s partner Liza, brothers-in-law Tony and Paddy, beloved cousin John Byrd, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street from 3.00pm on Sunday (13th March), family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary at 5.00pm.  Reception into the North Cathedral at 1.45pm on Monday (14th March) for 2.00pm Requiem Mass.  If you wish to view the Mass, click on http://www.corkcathedral.ie and follow link.  Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Curraghkippane.  Family flowers only.  Donations, if desired, to the Mercy Hospital Foundation or  the Irish Cancer Society.
