McCarthy (Leap): On September 14th, 2022 unexpectedly at her residence, Eilís, late of Dolly’s Beauty Salon, Leap, adored fiancé of Nico and devoted mother of baby Maggie, darling daughter of Oliver & Bridget and loving sister of Noel, Kevin & Louise.

Deeply regretted by her heart-broken fiancé, baby daughter, parents, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law Ber, Jill & Pauline, nephews & nieces Kara, Luke, Ethan, Oscar, Phoebe, Victoire & Robin, Nico’s parents Guy & Regine, uncles, aunts, cousins, customers, kind neighbours and her many loyal & heart-broken friends & colleagues.

Reposing in Shanahan's Funeral Home, Leap on Monday, 19th September from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 20th September at 11.30am in St. Mary’s Parish Church, Leap which will be live-streamed on http://corklivestream.com/funerals Funeral immediately afterwards to Kilfacthnabeg Cemetery, Glandore. The family has asked for people attending the Funeral to wear bright & light coloured clothing in celebration of Eilís’s spirit.
