Eileen Burke

Burke, Tully West, Ballygar, Co. Galway, January 30th, 2026, peacefully in her 96th year in the excellent care of the staff of St. Anthony’s Ward at Galway University Hospital surrounded by her nieces and nephews, Eileeen, predeceased by her parents John and Ellen, siblings Jimmy, Edward (Ted), Mick, Joe, Mary and Jack, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew John Burke and niece Annette O’Driscoll. Eileen will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, R.I.P. Remains arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Ballygar on Tuesday, February 3rd, for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock followed by burial afterwards in Killeroran cemetery. Family flowers only please. Eileen spent a lifetime in the care of St. Brigid’s Hospital, Ballinasloe, Laurel Lodge, Walnut Grove, Ballinasloe and the Holy Family Nursing Home, Killimor. Eileen’s family wish to acknowledge the exceptional care and love afforded to Eileen by you all over the years. They would also like to sincerely thank the staff in G.U.H.
