Eileen Cahalane
(née O'Connor)
CAHALANE (Late of Glasnevin Avenue, Dublin): On January 19th, 2026, peacefully, at Maryborough Nursing Home, Cork, EILEEN (née O’Connor), dearly loved wife of the late Conn.
Sadly missed by her loving daughter Lorna, son-in-law Greg, grandchildren Ross, Lisa and Mark, their partners Catherine, Ivan and Carol, her great-grandchildren Noah, Lily, Madeline and Theo, her sister-in-law Breda, her nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (January 21st) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Thursday (January 22nd) in St. Patrick’s Church, Rochestown which can be viewed here followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
Interment of ashes at a later date in Glasnevin Cemetery.
The family would like to acknowledge the kindness shown to Eileen by the Staff of Maryborough Nursing Home and also their family and friends.
