The death has occurred of
Eileen Carroll
(née Barry)
On December 19th, 2025, EILEEN, (née Barry, formerly of Goleen) passed unexpectedly but peacefully, in the presence of her son Michael and her daughter Debbie at Bantry General Hospital.
Eileen will be desperately missed by her loving children, grandchildren, brothers Anthony and Christy, sisters Christine and Francis and daughter-in-law Jasmina.
May she rest in peace.
Eileen’s family wish to sincerely thank all the staff at Bantry General Hospital for looking after her so well. They would also like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Paul O’Sullivan and all at Marino Medical Centre for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Eileen over the years.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday December 23rd, at 12noon at St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here), followed by burial at the Abbey Cemetery.
