Eileen CLANCY

CLANCY (née Geran), Eileen (Dublin, Wicklow and formerly of Lombardstown, Mallow, Co. Cork.) - March 7th, 2024 in Wicklow Hospice.
Deeply loved and cherished mother of Rosemarie O'Brien (née Clancy) and Norman, mother in law of Michael and grandmother to Simon, Alice, Timothy, Hugh and Christopher. Sadly missed by her adored sisters Kathleen, Mary and Joan and brothers Sean and Dermot, sister in law, brothers in law, niece, nephews, cousins and wide circle of friends. Pre-deceased by her parents, Jeremiah and Mary and brother Eamon.
Eileen passed away peacefully following a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loved ones.
Her loving and generous spirit continues to touch lives. It was her wish that her body be donated to medical science research. We are honoured to respect those wishes and we are comforted in our loss knowing that others will benefit from her precious gift.
A memorial service will take place in celebration of her life on Friday 15th of March 2024, at 11.00 in St. Patrick's Church, Barranisky, Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
No flowers and house private please. If desired, donations to Wicklow Hospice.
