Doody, Eileen (née Slattery).

Born Passage West, late of Kent Rd and

St. Michael’s Lawn, Cork.

On the 4th February 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving and adoring family after a prolonged illness fought with immense courage and dignity.

Eileen, survived by her dear husband Derry and best friend, cherished mother of Mary, Catherine, Cristine and Jennifer.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her adored grandchildren Lucy, Ashleigh, Emily and James, sister Mary, brothers Terry and Con, predeceased by her brother Pat, sons-in- law Jimmy and Ger, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, wide circle of friends.

A special thank you to Dr Jane O’Callaghan who took exceptional care of her through the years.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Reposing at home Tuesday, 6th February, for family and close friends exclusively.

Requiem Mass at 3.00pm on Wednesday, 7th February 2024, at Holy Cross Church, Mahon,

followed by Cremation service at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork at 5pm.
