The death has taken place of Eileen Downing (née O'Donovan), Newcastle, Blarney and formerly of Ballyvaloon, Grenagh, who passed away peacefully on April 16th 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family, dearly beloved wife of Denis and mother of Joey, Martin, Anthony, Margaret and the late Michael, sister of Kitty (Dempsey), Matty and the late Margaret (Roche) and sister-in-law of the late Sheila (Larkin).
Sadly missed by her loving family, brother-in-law John, daughters-in-law Maryanne, Miriam, Lucia, Margaret's partner Robby, grandchildren Timmy, Denis, Rose, Neasa, Jack and Luke, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Holy Saturday (April 19th) from 6pm with Prayers at 7.30pm.
Reception into St. Lachteen's Church, Grenagh on Easter Monday (April 21st) for 11am Requiem Mass.
Funeral afterwards to the local cemetery.
