Eileen died on August 22nd 2024 in her 92nd year in the loving care of the staff of Eliza Lodge Nursing Home Banagher. Formerly of Castletown, Curraghboy, Athlone, Co. Roscommon and late of Dunne's Insurance Brokers Tullamore. Predeceased by her husband Daniel (Danny) brothers Jimmy, Martin and Michael (Sonny). Sadly missed by her sons Paul and Donal, daughters Fionnuala and Maeve, sister Maureen, sisters-in-law Mary and Kathleen, grandchildren Paula, Adrian, James, David, Ian, Ruth, Eilish, Eoin and Katie, great-grandchildren Coinneach, Theo and Sophie, nephews, nieces, relatives and good friends.

Reposing at her daughter Maeve's house, Esker, Banagher, Co. Offaly (R42XO97) on Sunday from 5pm until 8pm. Reposing in O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore on Monday from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to The Church of The Assumption, Tullamore arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore.
