Eileen (Eilo) O’Neill (née Evans), Blackrock, Co. Dublin and Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry. On 16 April 2026, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Predeceased by her brothers Ernie and Tom, sisters Louis and Angela, and brother-in-law Patrick Stephenson.

 

Beloved wife of the late Fergus and much adored mother of Conor, Eoin, Finbar, Kate and Emily. Sorely missed by her sister Katho, sisters-in-law Niamh Stephenson and MaryJo Evans, her daughters-in-law Edwina, Irene and Lorna, and her sons-in-law Mark and Niall. Cherished grandmother to Finn, Aoife, Joaquim, Valentina, Michael, Oisín, Seán, Fergus, Ben, Katie, Cian and Liam. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and many good friends. Eileen will be sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

 

Reposing at home on Sunday, 19th April from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown (A94 TR68), on Monday, 20th April at 11am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
