Eileen Gaffney (née Field) (Chapel St., Louisburgh, Co. Mayo.) March 4th 2024:- Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Mac Bride Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her family in her 94th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Charlie, daughter Emer and nephew Ian Mc Geough. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons Fiona, Barry, Conor, & Orla, grandchildren Dervla, Finnian, Corinne, & Emer, son-in-law Dhara, daughter-in-law Nadia, sister-in-law Agatha, the extended Gaffney & Field families and a wide circle of friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Eileen will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Thursday (March 7th) from 6:00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:30pm, followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.
