(née Deane)
Eileen Gibbons (née Deane), Attycunnane, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Knocknalower, Barnatra, Ballina died peacefully at her residence in her 96th Year surrounded by her loving family on 16th June 2024. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mike), her parents Michael and Margaret, sisters Maggie, Mary and Annie. Beloved mother of Ann Healy (Ballycastle), Rita McAndrew (Tallagh Hill, Belmullet), Maureen Reilly (Emlybeg South, Binghamstown, Belmullet), Veronica Reilly (Church Road, Belmullet), Michael Gibbons (Attycunnane, Belmullet) and Eileen Kearney (Ballycastle). She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter in law Ann, sons in law Bernie, Tom, John, Thomas and Noel, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister in law Sheila Burke, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7.30pm with funeral arriving at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Glencastle at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle Old Cemetery.
