Eileen Gillick
(née Stapleton)
Eileen Gillick née Stapleton, Old Golf Links Road, Blackrock, Co. Louth, and formerly of Newry, Co. Down, peacefully in the wonderful care of Blackrock Abbey on Thursday 4th December 2025 in her 104th year. Eileen beloved wife of the late Jack, dear sister of the late Frank, Gerard and Meta. Eileen will be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, Maggie, Marie Therese, Cora, Paula, Richard, Des, Mary, Liam, Siobhan and Anne, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and friends.

Eileen will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street A91 XW66 from 5pm until 7pm on Saturday Removal on Sunday afternoon to St. Fursey’s Church (A91XH75) Haggardstown arriving for Mass at 2pm burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
