Eileen Hannigan
(née Carey)
Eileen Hannigan (nee Carey) St. Martins, Earlsvale Rd., Cavan. Tuesday October 17th 2017 (peacefully) in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late John and devoted mother of Mary (Fay) and Catherina (Farrell). Sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons-in-law Ray and Paddy, her adored grandchildren Chiara, Martin, Gordon, Emma, Vanessa, Caroline and Patrick, great-grandchildren Maegan, Cian, Nathan, Luke, Evie, Nina and Tadhg, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, her caring neighbours, all her relatives and many, many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at the home of her daughter Mary and son-in-law, Ray Fay, in Derryheen, Cavan, on Wednesday 18th from 12 noon until 8pm. House private to family thereafter. Removal on Thursday morning to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kill Cemetery. No flowers, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Residents Comfort Fund, Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan c/o McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan.
