Eileen Hayes

On May 12th, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Clonakilty Community Hospital, Eileen (nee McCarthy) beloved wife of the late Tim Hayes, Frehanes, and grandmother of the late Daniel and baby Ben Hayes, sister of the late Cal, Ed, Frank, and Dan. Dearest adored mother of Tony, Chris, Ann, Ted, Noel, and Edward. Deeply regretted by her family, her brother Mick, her sister Nora O'Leary, her brother-in-law John, her sisters-in-law Vera and Phil, her son-in-law Derry O'Driscoll, her daughters-in-law Sheila Higgins, Marie Cullinane, Liz Fagan, her grandchildren Darragh, Aoife, Claire, Kevin, Fiona, Lisa, Michelle, Craig, Sarah and Edel. Her great grandchildren Susannah, Tom, Laurel and Eden, her nieces and nephews, her relatives, many friends and her excellent home care team.

Lying in repose at Daly's Funeral Home, North Square, Rosscarbery, on Tuesday, 14th May, from 6pm-8pm, with prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 15th May, at 12 noon in St. Fachtna's Parish Church, Rosscarbery. Mass can be viewed on line at https://corklivestream.com/funerals Burial afterwards to Ross Abbey.
