Hudson (née Walsh), Fernhill, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Eire Street, Gorey, Co. Wexford, 19th March 2026, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice, Magheramore, with her husband, daughter and sister Veronica by her side. Eileen, loving wife of Matthew, adored mammy of Karen, proud nanny of Layla and Harry, treasured mother-in-law of Shay, dearly loved sister of John, Marie, Anne, Rita, Betty, Agnes, Veronica, Patrick and the late Dermot, Larry, Theresa and Anthony (Chick). She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

May Eileen Rest in Peace.

Eileen will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home (Y14 PT80) on Sunday from 2pm until 6pm. Removal on Monday morning at 9.30am to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow arriving for funeral Mass on at 10am, followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery Arklow.
