Eileen Kennedy
(née McDermott)
Eileen Kennedy (nee McDermott), Ernedale Heights, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit. Predeceased by her father Terry, mother Kathleen, brother Terence and sister Mary Rose. Eileen will be forever remembered by her husband Ted, children Trisha (Chris), Deirdre (Paul), Christopher (Catherine RIP), Claire (Sean) and Gary (Marina). She was much loved by her grandchildren Darren, Leigh, Bryan, Kealan, Evie, Hazel, Marcella, Katie, Greg, Lynsey, Jack, Rebecca, Conor and Odhran. Great-grandchildren, Ciaran, Michael, Teddy, Alex, Emmet, Isla, Ava, Lewis, Bobby and Jamie. Sadly missed by her sisters Molly Ferguson (Michael), Belleek and Ester Hanley (Michael RIP), Cork.
Reposing at her late residence on Tuesday from 12 noon to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.15am to arrive at St. Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors or any family member. House private to family on the morning of the funeral please. Those wishing to offer their condolences can do so by leaving a personal message in Eileen's condolence book below.
