Eileen Mackessy
(née Aherne)
Peacefully in the care of Mercy Hospital Cork. Predeceased by her sister Eva. Surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her husband Michael, daughters Eilis (Hickey) & Caroline, sons Alan, Michael & Derek, brother Aidan, daughters-in-law Catherine (Wall), Anna (Stout) & Eva (Ryan), son-in-law David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, adored grandchildren Michael, James, Joseph, Conor, Daniel, Cara, Grace, Abbey, Cian & Aoibhean, her wonderful neighbours, relatives & a large circle of friends, who meant the world to her. Rest in Peace.
The Mackessy family would like to thank, most sincerely, the amazing staff, and especially St.Catherine's ward for their unwavering care and compassion, in Mercy Hospital.
Reposing in O'Malley Funeral Homes New Line Charleville (P56T184) on Sunday from 5.30 pm until 7 pm.
Arriving to St.Mary's Church Ballyhea on Monday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. (Eileen's Requiem Mass with be live streamed and can be viewed BY CLICKING HERE)
Funeral after to the adjoining Cemetery.
