Eileen Markey (née Gray), Seatown, Dundalk.  Peacefully in Louth County Hospital.  18th December 2020.  Eileen beloved wife of the late Peadar, dear mother of Helen, Aidan and Sinead granny of Ellie and Oisín and sister of Kathleen (UK), Noel (Wales) and the late Jack. Eileen will be sadly missed by her son, daughters, grandchildren son-in-law Colin, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions the Family home is private.

Due to Government guidelines Eileen’s Funeral will take place privately on Monday at 11.30 in St Patrick’s Cathedral  followed by burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  The Mass and can be viewed on

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Eileen’s cortège will pass the family home on the way to the church.  Please keep your social distance. Her family understand and appreciate that people would like to offer their condolences.  Please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of this page.
