Eileen Mathews
(née Byrne)

The death has occurred, in her 93rd year, of Eileen Mathews (née Byrne), Mooremount, Dunleer, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her family. Eileen, beloved wife of the late Colm and loving mother of Paula (Kelleher), Valerie (Mullen) and Ursula (Mathews). Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Alice, sisters Molly, Mona, Teasy, Josie, Kathleen and Clare and brothers Pat and Jim. Sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Darren, John and Philip, grandchildren Eoin, Dáire, Páraic and Fionn, sisters Olive and Vera, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Eileen Rest in Peace

Eileen will repose at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H) on Sunday from 3pm until 6pm, followed by removal to St Brigid’s Church Dunleer for Evening Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery.
