McCarthy (née Barry) Leap: On January 20th, 2024, Eileen passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty and in the presence of her loving family. Deeply missed & treasured by her husband Denis, heartbroken children Martina, Imelda, Bernie (O’Rourke), John Paul & David, & her loving brothers Pat, Frank and Christy, her daughter-in-law Catherine; son-in-law Lee; grandchildren Aoife, Seán and Dáithí; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.
Grief is the price we pay for love.

Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap, Eircode P81 PR48 on Monday, 22nd January from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 23rd January at 12 noon in St. Peter's Church, Carrigfadda, Eircode P85 RW74 which will be livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals . Funeral immediately afterwards to Drinagh cemetery.
