Eileen McGowan (née Towey) Streedagh, Grange, Co. Sligo and formerly Renbrack, Foxford, Co. Mayo – March 07, 2026, Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in CCU at University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy. Dearly missed by her loving children Edel (Ryan) and Ciaran, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Sarah, her adoring grandchildren Mia, Isla, Ellie and Jack, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Nazareth Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo (F91DD72) on Monday the 9th March from 5pm to 6.30pm. Requiem mass will take place in the Church of the Assumption, Toomore, Foxford, Co. Mayo on Tuesday the 10th March at 3pm followed by burial in Toomore Cemetery. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies can do so on the condolence section below.
