Eileen McHale
(née Commons)

The death has occurred of Eileen McHale née Commons, Corheens, Breaffy, Castlebar and formerly of Dooleeg, Crossmolina, peacefully after a long illness at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her father Tim and mother Sarah Commons (née O’Malley) and her brother Christy.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family her husband Kevin and her sons Brian, Damian, Finian, Niall and Cathal and Brian’s partner Sam, her adored grandchildren, her sister Kathleen and her husband Bernie Gilroy (Keenagh) and her brother Tommy and his wife Monica (Boyle Co. Roscommon), her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, former work colleagues and many friends.

Eileen was secretary of Castlebar Town FC for a number of years and she was held in high regard by all those involved in soccer in the town and the county.

May she rest in peace.

Eileen will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90 on Sunday 5th April from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm. The Funeral will arrive at St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy on Monday 6th at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am, after which Eileen will be laid to rest in Breaffy Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/breaffy
