The death has occurred of Eileen Molloy (née Gorham) Leagaun, Moycullen, Galway (and Carna). Eileen died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sisters Mary, Julia and Angela and brother John and by her parents Dudley and Penelope.
Beloved wife of Hugh, darling mother of Maureen, Siubhán, Aideen, Hugo and Michael. Adored and adoring Neeney of Molly, Lucy, Will, Allie and Lua. Will be deeply missed by her sons-in-law Keith Grealish and Pat Collins and her daughter-in-law Sarah Boland, by her sisters Lelia and Nora and brother Páraic; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and by her wonderful friends and neighbours.
In deference to her time as a medical practitioner, Eileen has chosen to donate her body for medical research. Donations, if desired, to the inimitable Galway Hospice and the Irish Cancer Society.
Forever grateful to Crystal, Kevin, Aoife, Sarah, Ruth, Evelyn, Jean and Dr Sean for their phenomenal care.
Mass to celebrate the life of Eileen will take place at 12pm on Friday (4/3/2022) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moycullen, Galway. You may view this mass live by following the link below
