The death has occurred of Eileen Mullen, (nee Duffy), 47 Lios Darragh, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan (H18 ER80), and formerly of 14 Cabra,Threemilehouse, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 22nd March 2025, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Medical 5, Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents John and Philomena Duffy.

Much loved wife of Charlie, cherished and adored Mother of Helena, Pauric and Michael. Eileen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughter, sons, brother Michael, sisters Mary (Brendan Quigley), Margaret (Gerard Murphy) and Lorna, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Eileen

Eileen will be repose at the family home, 47 Lios Darragh, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan (H18 ER80) on Saturday (22nd) from 5pm to 9pm and Sunday (23rd) from 2pm until 9pm.

Eileen's Funeral procession will leave the family home on Monday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St. Loabhain's Church, Killeevan for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care/ comfort care Medical 5, Cavan General Hospital, c/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss, or by donation box in the family home.
