Eileen Murphy née Doherty of Wicklow Town and formerly Cheshire, England who passed away in her 99th year peacefully on Sunday 5th April 2026 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Johnnie and son Paul. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Caroline, sons Sean and William, grandchildren Jennifer, Daniel and Thomas, great-grandchildren Sille and Eily, daughters-in-law Annie and Trish, extended family and friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Eileen will repose at Flannery's Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Funeral arriving to St Patrick's Church on Saturday morning for funeral Mass at 10am after which Eileen will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery
