Late of Knockeenduff, Tramore, Co. Waterford.
Formerly of Kilteely, Co. Limerick.
Nellie passed peacefully in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by her loving family.
Tuesday the 28th of January 2025 RIP.
Nellie will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Martin; her loving children Eileen, Chris, Harry, Martin and Matthew; her adoring grandchildren Ciaran, Catriona, John-Martin, Shannon, Kevin, Leona, Hannah, Ellen, JJ, Olivia and Patrick; her great-grandchildren Sophie, Jayden, Mason, Jaxon, Willow, Bonnie, AJ, Mia, Eva and Layla; her sister Mary and her brothers Tom and PJ, daughter-in-law Anita, son-in-law Fintan and partners. She will be forever missed by all her nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends.
Nellie’s family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff at the Oak Ward in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional care and kindness Nellie received throughout her illness

Nellie will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Thursday the 30th of January from 5pm to 7pm.

Nellie's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 31st of January, at 10am at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after, Nellie will be laid to rest in St Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore. Anyone wishing to take part in Nellie's Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link below.
Nellie's funeral cortège will walk from Lodges Corner, Tramore Credit Union, at approximately 9:40 am to arrive for her Requiem Mass.
The Dunne family invite anyone attending Nellie’s requiem mass please wear bright and vibrant colours to symbolise her zest for life.
