Eileen O'Dowd
(née O'Reilly)

Eileen O'Dowd, Derries, Killeshandra, County Cavan, 2nd May 2020, in her 100th year, peacefully, at College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Jack, sons Garry and Charles and step-daughter Paddy (Pádraigín). Deeply regretted by her children John, Tom, Brian, Mary, Anne, Jim, Joe, Teresa, Jaki, Paul, Andrew, Breda and Catherine, brothers Vincent and Seamus, sister Josie, grandchildren and great -grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Due to current government and HSE restrictions, a private funeral for Eileen will take place on Sunday, 3rd May, in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for immediate family only, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Please note that Eileen's homeplace in the Derries remains strictly private. Eileen's final journey will take her along the Cavan - Killeshandra road passing by the entrance lane to her homeplace in the Derries, with one last visit to her hometown of Killeshandra before proceeding to St. Brigid's Church.
