Carrigaunroe, Shanballymore, Cork

Eileen O' Flynn (nee Burke),

Passed away peacefully, in her 91st year on October 20th 2024, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Mallow General Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Michael and sister of the late Daniel, Edmond, Michael, David, Tom and Pat. Eileen was a cherished mother to Thomas, Margaret, Patrick and Michael.

Sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her adored grandchildren; Daniel, Thomas, Ella, Pádraig, Theresa, Lilyana and Amelie, son-in-law Kevin, daughters-in-law Catherine and Nora, sisters; Margaret (Parsons-Peck), Marie (Murphy) and Catherine (Donegan), brothers; Oliver, Raymond, Donal and Martin, sisters-in -law, brother-in -law,nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, her many carers who took care of Eileen in her home over the years and a wide circle of friends.

Eileen is reposing in Hannon's Funeral Home, Doneraile on Wednesday evening, October 23rd, from 6.30pm to 8pm followed by prayers.

Reception into Christ the King Church, Shanballymore for Requiem Mass at 1pm on Thursday, October 24th.

Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The O' Flynn family, would like to extend a special word of thanks to Dr Emma Jennings and her medical team and to the nurses and staff of Med 3 ward at Mallow General Hospital for the professional care and attention given to their mother while she was under their care.

A word of thanks also to Nazareth House where Eileen got great support and care on many occasions over the years. Their care and support was very much appreciated.
