Eileen died peacefully, at home surrounded by her family on May 7th, 2024, after a long illness, bravely borne. Predeceased by her beloved husband Denis, daughters Mary and Denise, brother PJ, sisters Nancy and Babs and her adored grandsons Patrick and Mel.

Eileen will be forever missed and always remembered with love by her family, daughters Carmel, Martina and Francis, son Kevin, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law and her daughter's partner, her beloved 11 grandchildren, sisters Maureen Rooney (Abbeyshrule) and Nuala Hartnet (Dublin), nieces, nephews, relatives, carers, neighbours and good friends.

Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford N39 KN66 on Thursday 9th from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 10th at 2pm in St. James's Church, Clonbroney, Ballinalee, followed with Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd, Cavan for family only.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society Ireland c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member. Family home private at all times please.
