Owens Eileen (née Shannon), October 1st 2021, (Belgard Heights and formerly of Ballymote, Co. Sligo), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful staff of Tymon North Nursing Home. A special thanks to all of Eileen's Home Care Team who cared for her so well. Beloved wife and friend of P.J. and much loved mother of Marie and Annette. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Oisín and Kieran and her loving grandchildren Lucy-Anne, James and Aoife. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters Teresa and Eilish, brothers Joe, Brian and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

In line with Government and HSE advice regarding public gatherings, a small private Funeral will be held on Monday at 10am in St. Mark's Church, Springfield (Church restricted to 50% capacity)  followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery. Eileen will repose at Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Tallaght (opp. Tallaght Stadium) on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Those who cannot attend the funeral Mass due to current restrictions please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of the page.
