Eileen Penrose (nee Costello) late of Buncrana, Co. Donegal, formerly of Ballinahown, Co. Galway and London died peacefully at her daughter’s residence, Buncrana, surrounded by her devoted family on 25th January 2024 Recently predeceased by her husband Leo, her parents Michael & Nora Costello and brother Paudric. Deeply missed by her heartbroken daughters Eileen (Ronan) and Alice (Doherty), sons-in-law John and Patrick, devoted grandchildren James and Alice, her brothers and sisters, Michael, Bridie (McDonagh), Maura(Fairman), Ned, Sean, Martin and Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives and many friends.

Funeral arrangements: reposing at her daughter Alice’s home in Buncrana on Saturday, 27th January 2024, from 2pm-10pm before travelling on Sunday, 28th January 2024, to repose at her nephew Willie Penrose’s home, Ballintue, Ballynacargy, Co. Westmeath N91 Y291 from 5.30pm. Arriving to Church of The Nativity, Ballynacargy for requiem mass on Monday, 29th January 2024, at 11am with burial after in Sonna Cemetery.
