Eileen Reade

Eileen Reade (St. Fiacre’s Place, Kilkenny City) passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted and loving family, in the excellent care of all the staff in Archersrath Nursing Home, Kilkenny on 19th May 2024. Predeceased by her daughter Christine. Eileen will be deeply missed by her loving husband Tom, sons and daughters, Robert, Marie, John, Olivia, Tom and Colette, brother Jim (Blanchfield), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City (R95 KR20) on Tuesday evening 21st May from 5pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning 22nd May at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Kilkenny City, followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery.
