Eileen Riordan
(née Pigott)

Eileen Riordan (née Pigott), Convent Road, Doneraile, Co. Cork who passed away peacefully, aged 94, on October 29th 2025 in the tender care of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork. Predeceased by her husband John, sister Celia (Kiely) and brother John Pigott. Beloved mother of Thomas and Richard and mother-in-law of Barbara and Thomas' partner Ines, treasured grandmother of Megan and Joshua.

 

Lovingly remembered by her family, niece Lil, nephew Dick, grandnephew Mark, extended family, a wide circle of wonderful friends, neighbours, and the dedicated carers particularly Teresa, who went above and beyond to make recent months so comfortable for her.

Eileen's warm presence, conversation and kindness touched all who knew her.

Reposing at Stack's Funeral Home (P51 Y821) on Saturday (November 1st) from 6:30pm with Prayers at 8pm followed by Removal to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile.

 

Funeral Mass on Sunday (November 2nd) at 11am. The Mass will be live streamed on www.doneraileparish.ie. Burial afterwards in Oldcourt Cemetery, Doneraile.
