(née Uzell)

Thornton (née Uzell) Eileen, (Artane and late of Donnycarney) – March 30th, 2021 – (peacefully), after a short illness, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan; beloved wife of Seán, loving mother of Paula, Seán and the late David and cherished nana to Ciarán, Cormac, Jasmine, Mark and Rachel. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Tony, daughter-in-law Bernie, sister Alice, sister-in-law Nuala, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings.  Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but cannot due to current restrictions, may leave a personal message in the section “condolences” below or on www.kirwans.ie. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
