The death has occurred of
Eileen WHELAN
(née Walsh)
WHELAN (Nee Walsh) (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Aglish, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny) April 6th, 2022 (peacefully) at her residence and surrounded by her family. Eileen, beloved wife of Patrick (Paddy) and dear mother of Padraig, Aisling, Ciaran and Grainne and a devoted grandmother to Patrick, Bella, Honor-Marie, Ruby, Ted, Caroline, Harry, Edi, Olivia, Flora, Hugh and Rory. Predeceased by her sister Joan and nephew Niall. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Ronan and Ewan, daughters-in-law Judith and Karen, brother John, sister-in-law Breda, brothers-in-law Bill and Rusty, nephew Michael, nieces Carolyn and Sinead, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at her residence on Friday evening from 4 pm to 7 pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on Saturday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery. Eileen’s Funeral Mass can be viewed by following this LINK on Saturday morning. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent De Paul.
