Late Eileen Whelan (née Ormond),
formerly of 3, The Grove,
Abbeyside, Dungarvan,
Co. Waterford.
Eileen passed away peacefully on Tuesday 30th July 2024 in the tender care of staff at The Oak Ward, Dunmore Wing, University Hospital Waterford. Predeceased by her husband Donal, parents Paddy and Annie Ormond.
Eileen is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters Áine and Edel, sons Ciaran and Cormac, daughter-in-law Karina, son-in-law Vinny, grandchildren Adam, Tiarnan, Oscair, Rory and Freyja, brothers John and Pat, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Mary, Gertie, Dolores and Carmel, brother-in-law Noel, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Eileen will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan on Friday evening, 2nd August, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Prayers at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, 3rd August, in St. Augustine's Church, Abbeyside. Interment afterwards in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Dungarvan.
