O’FLANAGAN, Elaine (née Connolly). Beloved and cherished wife of the late Michael, devoted mother to Sarah, Mary Kate, Rachel, Olivia, Catherine and Rebecca. Attentive and affectionate Mammam to Berry, Doug, Jake, Joe, Isibeal, Madeleine, Isaac and Harry. A faithful and loving sister to Leo and Jack, a kind and ever-encouraging aunt to her many nieces and nephews. An infinitely generous, welcoming presence to her steadfast sons-in-law, Phil, Gary, Aidan, Stephen and Rob and a dependable rock to the O'Flanagan family into which she married. An artist, gardener and world traveller, a tower of strength in her warmth, humanity and legendary hospitality to the many friends and strangers she met on her road. She bore these last years with characteristic stoicism and unfailing good manners. We think of her now reunited with her baby boy Michael Morgan and her anam cara Michael.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday, April 21st 2026 from 6pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, April 22nd, at 11:30am at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Botanic Road, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
