The death has occurred of
Eldrid Van Der Merwe
Van Der Merwe (Mitchelstown) on October 16th 2023, in the wonderful care of all at Abbeylands Nursing Home, Kildorrery, ELDRID formerly of 9, Kingston College, Mitchelstown.
Beloved husband of the late Rita and loving father of Kathleen (Bweeng, Co.Cork), Sean (Cape Town, South Africa) and the late Eldrid (Australia). Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Craig, daughter-in-law Theresa, grandchildren Ryan, Candice, Danielle, Kaylee and great- granddaughter, Miley, his fellow residents at Abbeylands, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown P67 DX81, on Tuesda, 17th October, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Reception into the Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown, on Wednesday, 18th October, at 10.00 a.m. for Requiem Mass.
Eldrid's Funeral Mass will be live streamed on http://www.mitchelstownparish.ie/
It was Eldrid's wish that his body be donated for medical research.
