Eleanor Board
(née Crowley)
BOARD (Cork) On 20th August 2025, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Ward, St. Finbarr’s Hospital, ELEANOR (nee Crowley), late of Killala Gardens, Knocknaheeny. Dearly beloved wife of Alfie, much loved mother of Lloyd, Alan, Alvina and Stephen and dearest grandma of Rocco, Shannon, Abigail, Lauren, Angelica, Lukas and Jake.
Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, brothers Michael and Jerry, sister Margaret, son-in-law Pat, Stephen’s partner Marian and Lloyd’s partner Diane, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours especially Betty and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Saturday (23rd August) from 12noon to 4.00pm and Sunday (24th August) from 1.00pm, family in attendance at 3.00pm with Prayers at 4.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (25thAugust) at 11.00am in St. Mary’s on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy at 1.00pm.
