On February 22nd 2026, peacefully in the presence of her loving family after a short illness, at the Mercy Hospital Cork, Eleanor (née Buckley) beloved wife of Egon and loving mother of Marcus, Christian and the late infant York. Daughter of the late Timothy and Mary Buckley (née Roche) and sister of the late Christina, sister-in-law of the late Christy Kelly, Kathleen Buckley and Manfred and aunt of the late Richard Krauss. Sadly missed by her loving husband and sons, daughters-in-law June and Suzanne, her 10 adoring grandchildren Donna, Clodagh, Sam, Marcus, Silke, Ben, Dale, Stephanie, Leah and Leona, sister Esther, brothers Paul, Finbarr, David and Pat, brothers-in-law Hans, Fred, Eginhard, sisters-in-law Hannelore, Marion and Nicole, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and her bingo buddies.
Rest in peace.
Lying in repose at her home 19 Aisling Close, (P31 XC92) Wednesday (25th) from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11am Thursday (26th) in the Church of St Mary and St John Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig Cremation afterwards at the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy.
