Eleanor O’Toole Derrig

Eleanor O’Toole Derrig, 4th May 2025, Tully Farm, Newport Road, Castlebar and formerly of Henry Street, Galway, former Librarian at Mayo County Library, Castlebar, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Mayo Hospice, Castlebar surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Kathleen and her brother Tom.

Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Ger, son Ríán, sister Josephine (Kelly, Galway) and brother Brendan (O’Toole, Galway), daughter-in-law Hanna, grandchildren Emmet and Éilish, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Eleanor will repose at her residence, Tully Farm, Newport Road, Castlebar, F23 C640 on Sunday (11th May) from 5 -7pm.

Removal from her residence on Monday morning at 10.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Eleanor will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
