It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty), who passed away on the 15th of June 2025, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the Doctors, nurses and staff in the Mercy University Hospital. Elizabeth (Betty) née McEvoy, late of Mayfield. Dearly beloved wife of Daniel (Dan), Cherished mother of Correna, Mark and Stephen. Predeceased by her son Patrick.

Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Albert, daughter-in-law Norma, sisters Philomena (Walsh), Sheila (Sharkey), brother Michael, brother-in-law Brendan, sisters-in-law Angela (Cunningham), Siobhán (Long), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Betty’s Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, Cork, on Tuesday, the 17th of June, from 5-6pm, with prayers at 5:45pm. On Wednesday 18th of June A Celebration of Life service will take place in the funeral home at 2:00pm.

Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium at 4:00pm.
