The death has occurred, in her 92nd year, of Elizabeth (Betty) Carroll (née Reilly), Richardstown, Dromin, Dunleer, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Gormanston Wood Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Betty, beloved wife of the late Willie and loving mother of Desmond, William and Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Mary, brothers Stephen and Oliver, brother-in-law Tom (Carroll) and sister-in-law Moira (Loughran). Betty is deeply regretted by her sons, brother Sean, Desmond’s partner France and her daughter Eilis, sisters-in-law Madge and Kitty, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Betty Rest in Peace

Betty will repose at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H) on Monday from 2pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in Saint Finian’s Church, Dromin (A92 E732) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
