Elizabeth (Betty) Costello

Betty passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 11th of December, 2024, in the wonderful care of the staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, son Edward, parents Bill and Julia, brothers Paddy and Bobby and brother-in-law Paddy Seale.

Betty will be sadly missed by her children Caroline Kelly and Jamie, her daughter-in-law Geraldine, her son-in-law Seamus, her sister Mary Seale (Woodmount), her grandchildren James, Cassandra, Tomás, Natalie, Edward and Dervla and her nine great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted by sisters-in-law Carmel Kilkenny, Marie Kilkenny and Mary (George) Walker, brothers-in-law Jack Costello and Paddy (Kathleen) Noone, extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Betty will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Friday, 13th of December, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh for Funeral Mass at 2.30pm, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.
