The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Mahon (née Dempsey), Cornamuckla, Ballymoe, Castlerea, County Galway, and formerly Ballintubber, Castlerea, County Roscommon, peacefully 22nd January 2025 at the Galway Clinic, in the presence of her family and under the wonderful care of the staff of the Galway Clinic.

 

Predeceased by her parents Dan and Ellen, siblings Sonny, Mary and Michael.

 

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband Peter,

sons Mark and Peter, daughters Caroline (Webb)(Castlerea), Sharon (Kiely)(Rolestown, Swords) and Laura (Strandhill),

daughters-in-law Ursula, Kelly and Laura's partner Stephanie, sons-in-law Michael and Damien,

grandchildren Ally, Áine, Saoirse, Kyle, Ruairí, Ellen, Marcus, Emma, Méabh, Oisín and Harry,

brothers Tom and Martin, sister Ceila (Finan),

brothers-in-law Basil, Micheal and Brian, sisters-in-law Eithne (Dempsey), Sarah (Dempsey) and Eileen (Morgan),

nieces, nephews, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

 

May Betty's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe this Saturday evening 25th January from 4pm until 6pm.

Arriving at St. Croan's Church, Ballymoe on Sunday 26th January for Mass at 11 am.

Followed by burial in Kilcroan Cemetery.
